Mark or personalise leather or wood.
Clip the desired letter, number or art stamp onto the hand tool - secure
Place stamp on leather or wood and hold steady
Hit the handtool perpendicular and preferably only once to ensure a crisp and clear effect.
To save your hand tools, use a wooden or nylon mallet
